Bartender (21+)

Multi-functional position requiring the ability to plan and manage work in a routine and defined context. Takes orders from and serves beverages to guests.

Duties:

  • Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks.
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
  • Listen to customers and redirect to manager when required.
  • Practice responsible alcohol service – TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certified.
  • Operate Restaurant Manager point of sale system.

Barback (18+)

Multi-functional position requiring the ability to plan and manage work in a routine and defined context.

Duties:

  • Support bartenders so that they have supplies needed.
  • Ensure bars are fully stocked – beverages, garnishes, ice cubes, cups, etc.
  • Stock/store supplier deliveries.
  • Clean service areas throughout shift.

Game Attendant
Induces customers to participate in games at a concession. Describes types of games available to passing public to attract customers. Supplies customers with game equipment, such as toss rings or balls. Distributes prizes to customers who win games. Collects fees for games. Cleans booth and keeps equipment in serviceable condition.
 

Duties:

  • Welcome customers by greeting them.
  • Offers customers opportunities to play and win games.
  • Collects payment for the game.
  • Distributes merchandise when the game has a winner.
  • Keeps work area clean and stocked.

    Perform work involving the use of large and small equipment. Routine manual labor involving trash removal, painting, sweeping, and receiving deliveries. Assigned a designated task or area in the park.
     

    Duties:

    • Keep all flower pots throughout the park clean and debris free.
    • Clean all areas of the park regardless of the designated area.
    • Clean restrooms – sweep/mop floors, toilets, walls, and sinks on a daily and hourly basis.
    • Restock hand towels and hand soap.
    • Remove trash from a designated area or wherever needed.
    • Maintain a clean dumpster area.
    • Follow a detailed worksheet for the designated area.
    • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors wherever needed.
    • Clean and maintain all outside food areas.
    • Help to move equipment and inventory throughout the park.
    • Keep the equipment storage room neat, clean, and organized.
    • Return all materials and equipment used back to designated areas.

    • Maintain awareness of all promotions.
    • Execute the daily operational goals and priorities assigned by management.

    • Help the team keep the receiving and back stock area clean and organized.

  • Ride Cashier
    Work directly with the public. Greet patrons as they approach the ticket booth. Sell tickets/wristbands for the amusement rides. Answer general questions about the park.
     

    Duties:

    • Sell tickets and wristbands to guests.
    • Operate a Clover cash register to ring through customer sales.
    • Using register, total customer orders, and make sure payment/change is correct.
    • Run credit card charges for sales using proper procedures.
    • Keep work station and surrounding areas clean and maintained.

  • Ride Operator
    Work directly with the public. Greet patrons as they enter rides and confirm that guests meet height and other admission requirements to get for the rides. Collect tickets as payment for the rides.
     

    Duties:

    • Direct patrons on how to enter and exit rides.
    • Help people get on and off rides.
    • Make sure that patrons are securely seated in rides.
    • Keep an eye on patrons and their movements to ensure they are not in any danger.
    • If necessary, take proper steps to remove disorderly people from rides.
    • Responsible for keeping work stations and surrounding areas clean and maintained.

  • Ride Technician
    Through diagnostics and preventative maintenance of all systems ensures the safe, reliable operation of rides and mechanical equipment.
     

    Duties:

    • Execute the maintenance schedule of amusement rides/devices as laid out by the senior ride technician to ensure that all safety parameters are followed in the erection, maintenance and operation of amusement rides/devices.
    • Responsible for repair and maintenance of non-ride equipment and facilities.
    • Ensures that all maintenance and inspection documentation is properly completed and appropriately filed.
    • Supports the Ride Operations Director with training and certification of ride operators.
    • Direct supervisor is the senior ride technician.
    • Works with senior management in the planning, layout and execution of other tasks associated with the pier and warehouse.

  • Senior Ride Technician

    Slingshot

    All positions on the Slingshot will require the same personality traits and employees will rotate on all 3 positions.

    Requirements are:

    • Outgoing, engaging, and patient demeanor
    • Enthusiastic and fluent in both English and Spanish
    • Comfortable working in a team environment
    • Able to follow directions and understand safety guidelines
    • Spontaneous and free-thinking while maintaining adherence to protocols

    The team members will be exposed to a fun and incentivized job in a great environment with a flexible schedule.

    1. SRO (Slingshot Ride Operator)

    An SRO is versed in the proper operation of the ride focusing on the safety of the patrons at all times. Be upbeat and engaging with the patrons as they enter and exit the ride, therefore, expanding the patron’s ride experience. Engage with the patron after the initial launch to see if they would like to ‘go’ again at a discount i.e. a ‘reshot’. Again expanding the overall patron experience.

    2. SSP (Slingshot Sales Person)

    An SSP will engage with the patron at the sales booth and inform the patron of their price options. They will have an intimate knowledge of the ride experience and can then relate that experience to the customer and then offer them the item that fits their need.

    3. MSP (Midway Sales Person)

    An MSP will approach and engage patrons on the midway (in a friendly respectful manner). In their engagement with the customer they will relate the ride experience to the patron and offer that experience to the patron with the same enthusiasm as an SSP but in most cases at a discount. The primary difference between an SSP and MSP is that in the latter the MSP approaches the patron whereas with the former the patron approaches the SSP i.e. approaches the ticket booth.
